Diamond & Plenty Valleys
We are very fortunate in our local region, to have schools which receive incredible support from the wider community. Teachers, parents, grandparents, friends, business owners … there is an endless of local community members, who constantly give their own time, effort, equipment and money, to help our schools provide a wonderful education. But we also know that there are only so many lamington drives and fun runs a small community can organise each year, and there are only so many raffle tickets you can ask local people to buy, when we are struggling with other problems, like drought.
That is why I am very pleased to have supported all of our local schools to secure funding for projects ranging from purchasing new computers and sports equipment, to building new classrooms and even whole schools!
Our region’s latest education newsletter is attached so you can see just how much we have achieved together!
